"Turn this into text" and "add subtitles to this" sound similar but aren't the same deliverable — a verbatim transcript is text in the source language; subtitles require timing the text to the video and translating it. Treating them as one vague "media" line is how buyers end up quoted for the wrong job. We price and describe them separately: transcription per 10 audio-minute block, subtitling (transcribe + time + translate) per 10 video-minute block.

What counts as a "10-minute block" if my recording is 23 minutes?
Blocks round up to the next 10-minute unit, so a 23-minute recording is billed as three blocks. We show the exact block count and total before you confirm.
Can I get subtitles in a different language from the audio?
Yes — that's exactly what subtitling covers: transcribe the source audio, then translate and time the subtitle track into your target language.
Do you handle poor audio quality or multiple overlapping speakers?
We can, but it's flagged as a poor-source case (+15% surcharge) and may extend turnaround — we'll confirm honestly after a quick listen, before you commit to the order.
What subtitle file format do I get?
SRT by default, which works with almost all video players and platforms; VTT is available on request.
