Do I need notarisation, an apostille, or both?
It depends entirely on the receiving country and institution. As a general pattern: documents crossing into another Hague Convention country for official use typically need an apostille; some receiving parties ask for notarisation alone. Can you apostille a document that isn't translated by you?
No — we can only add notarisation or apostille handling to a translation we've produced, since both steps certify our translator's signature specifically.
Why is the apostille step slower than notarisation?
Apostille certificates in Norway are issued by a designated authority after notarisation is complete — that queue adds working days beyond our own translation and review time.
Is the bundle price cheaper than ordering both separately?
Yes — the notarisation + apostille bundle is priced at NOK 2,190 against a combined NOK 2,480 if bought as two separate line items, shown as the "before" price on the bundle.
Do you handle the physical original document, or only a scan?
